Designed at the turn of the century with wide, tree-lined streets and larger lots, many of the stately original homes were built before 1930.

The neighbourhood has some of Toronto’s best public and private schools and family-friendly destinations. Moorevale Park has five outdoor tennis courts, a lawn bowling green, wading pool, playground, sports field and a baseball diamond.
